Switched Filters
- Details
** Control EMC Problems Dynamically
** Pin Diode Switches
**Selective Filtering of JTIDS/TACAN/IFF Transmissions
** 250 WATTS Peak Power
** Compact Airborne Assemblies
** TTL or Custom Switching Logic Available
** 2 Microsec Switching Time
RS Microwave produces airborne switchable Notch Filters that permit selective switching of 1030 Mhz Notch filters in and out of a transmit path on a pulse by pulse basis to eliminate interference between TACAN, IFF and JTIDS transmissions. All contain integral drivers.
Part No. | Notch Band (MHz) | REJECTION (dB) | GROUP DELAY | SWITCHING LOGIC | PRIME

50703-1 uses a ceramic dielectric.
Drop-in Filters
These are typically arrays of “drop-in” filters, pre- and post-selected by PIN diode switch modules. Such switched filter packages may contain TTL compatible drivers or BCD decoders.
Representative specifications are:
-
Package passband: 2-4 GHz
-
Filter passbands: 1/6 of package passband
-
Channel loss: 5 db, including input/output switching Switching time: 50 ns
-
RF power: 0 dBm
